Faulty Product Returns

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations in accordance with your rights as a customer under the Consumer Guarantees Protection/ACCC.

Gimme Toys will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, credit note, refund or repair where:

  1. The product is not of acceptable quality in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act
  2. The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  3. The product does not match the sample or our description; and
  4. You produce your original Gimme Toys receipt at the time you return the item

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, Gimme Toys is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy.

Gimme Toys may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem.

Where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect, Gimme Toys reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair.

To return a faulty product, please follow these steps:

  1. Take photos/video showing the fault with the item.
  2. Send an email to [email protected] to advise us of your order details, the issue you have experienced, and attach your photos/video.

Change of Mind Returns

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, you can do so within 7 days. Gimme Toys will offer you an exchange or credit provided that:

  1. You produce your original receipt at the time you return the item.
  2. The item is in re-saleable condition including that:
  • It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories,
  • It is unopened, unused and in its original condition.

If these requirements are not satisfied, Gimme Toys reserves the right not to offer an exchange or credit note for change of mind returns.

Please note the following:

  • A refund/credit note will be processed for the purchase amount of the product only, not including shipping costs.
  • Refunds will only be processed back into the original method of payment and are not transferrable for cash. Under no circumstances will a refund be made to a different account.
  • We recommend that you return items using a service with a tracking number as you are responsible for the item being received back into our warehouse.
  • Unauthorised returns or returns of damaged, opened products or otherwise products in an unsellable condition will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at the sender’s cost.
